The above-lnentionea htorrnation will be secured by visits altrongj the, farmers, so far as practicable, which will give then inforrnati-on in regard to their dtffi-cultles an-d wil} at the same time result in increasing their jnterest in the work of the E:<periment Statlon and AgrLculturaL College. 2. to organlze Farnerst: Institute $ocj.eties in the varlous faunlng districts of the Territory under the auspices of rvhich Farmerst Institutes nuy be held in the various districts and through vrhich cooperative e:<perirnents on the problems of the 4istrict nnay be carried on. Such socldttes should nesult in brtnglng the fanners into each other to thej.r mrtual advantagei arrd the Instltutesr and courses, should prove of great educational value to then. New Mexico Ls one of the few statee or territories rvhich Farmerst Institute work and the tine has eone for her to falI movement for the instmction of the farmers of the country. 3. The organization anci superintending of cooperative e:cperirnents and demon-strations on inrportant problems in each district. This work will be carried on in this manner: Having ncrted that a certain natter needed attention in a certain d:istrict, this would be reported to the Station Corrrrcil; it having decided that the problem should be investigated, then the Departrnent concerned, with the assj.stance of the Superintendent, would clran up detailed plans of the e:cperiment. These plans would be submitted. to the local society and they would be requested to select some farmer or farmers who wou1d. be willing to carry on the experlnent under such agreernents regarding the portion of the expense to be bornc by the Sta'Lion and by the soclety or farrner as the ccrfd:ltions warranted.
