SPECIAL ISSUE - PEDIGREE INFORMATION
1987-88 TUCUMCARI BULL TEST X?V>,
This is the only place we will publish pedigree information.
Expected progeny difference (EPD) or estimated breeding value
(EBV) figures are included on each pedigree, if available. These
estimates are provided by bull owners and are obtained from the
appropriate breed associations. In addition, the tables on pages
one and two include EPD or EBV figures for sires of calves on
test, again only for those sires for which we were supplied
information.
These EPD and EBV estimates can help you to identify bulls on
test whose ancestors have demonstrated superior performance in
the economic traits most important to you.
Individual performance of bulls on test at Tucumcari is published
following 28-day weigh periods in regular issues of BULL SESSION.
The 1988 Performance Tested Bull Sale will be held Friday, March
