It ig characterized by respiratory and nervoue .syuptms ln young'and adult birdil, together wtth ir raplil and conplete fall in egg production ln laylng birilg.. Cause: Virug Geographlc DistributLon: Iforld wtde Speeiee: Chickens, turkey, pigeone, ducks, pheasants, geeae and nany other apecLeS. Age: ALl ages, the longer a dieease reunlns in young, The difference in age tiee Ln not in the age grouP affected. Seaso.n: Can be serLous et any seaeon ait area , the less severe tt le in the mortality of an age group and Mortallty: Under 4 weeke, mortalLty le high, up to LOV"i ln adulte mortallty nay reach 100"; It depends on the virulence of the vlrue. Sme gtraine klll all blrds rapidly tn 4-5 daye; othera have a low mortallty but exhtbit nervoue eymptms. Ohters have a serious effect on egg quallty.
