Journal of last meeting read and approved – Regent Whitmore special committee on advertising the opening of the College submitted the following report.
“Your committee on advertising the open report that contracts for advertising the opening of the Agricultural College and experiment station for one month were made with the Kingston Shaft Silver City Enterprise Rio Grande Republican Mesilla Valley Democrat San Marcial Reporter and the Lincoln Independent for five dollars each, and with the Santa Fe New Mexican and Las Vegas Optic for ten dollars each and recommend that warrants be drawn in favor of the publishers of the several papers for the amounts above stated. Respectfully submitted.”
