I. Call to Order at 9:00 a.m.
Regent James Koch, ,President, UNM Board of Regents
• I want to welcome everybody and see how the tables are setup. As you will
see, we are all together and this is what it's all about. Our two universities
are educating about sixty thousand students, our budgets are over $2 billion
dollars, and this is the second time we have gotten together. I believe this
will be our most important meeting to date. By all of us getting together and
working together we will be able to do a lot for New Mexico State and for
the U ni versi ty of New Mexi co. We have a pretty good agenda and we will
move along rapidly, but we will not cut anyone's presentation. We will try
to break about 10:45 am for anyone who wants to attend services for Pamela
Minzner. We have been working on this a long time. Our President has met
