The meeting to have been held September 10th, 1889 having failed a meeting was called for the above date and as the office of Judge John R. McFie.
Present: All of the Trustees
The meeting was called to order by the President Judge John R. McFie of the Board of Regents of the Agricultural College report from that body a request to the Board of Trustees of the Las Cruces College to consider whether or not that Board would something the College Building to the Agricultural College of the Board.
Moved and seconded that Judge McFie propose to the Board of Regents of the Agricultural College to something said College building to said Agricultural College Board for the sum of $25.00, per month from the 15th day of January, 1890 to October 15th, 1890, provided said Agricultural College Board purchase certain furniture listed at cost to this board. Following is a list of property proposed for sale.
10 No. 1 Victor Folding Desks single $4.00
10 No. 2 Victor Folding Desks single $4.00
2 Rear seats $4.00 $88.00
3 recitation seats, each 8 ft. $1.00 per ft. $24.00
1 Table for Book Keepers’ Study $5.00
4 Chairs @ $.50 $2.00
$119.00
Motion carried and Judge McFie is authorized to make the proposal as aforesaid.
On motion meeting adjourned.
