The President of the Board gave not~ce of the annual meeting of the Board-to be held March 11th, as provided. by law'. The min_utes of _etings of the Boa.rd held November 6th ,and March 4th were re~don motion. duly approved. Inaccord.a.nce with the law regulating the organization of the Board of Regents, the Boardresolyed into a commit teeo! ~the whole wit..", Regent Sutherland in the chai.randproceededtotheelection of the officers of the Boardfortr.. censuing year. I Thei "'Tame ofllegentSutherlandv/ue :placed in nomination by Regent Ha.dley for the position of President of the Board for the coming year, which nominationwasduly-seconded by Regent May. ~'here being no further nominations they were declared closed and upon a vote being taken Regent Sutherland was declared duly and regularly elected President of this Board for theencusing year. Thel-Tame .ofRegent ifa.ywasplaced in nomination by Begent McBride as Secr'etary-Treasurf;lr of the Board fot" the coming year. The nomination was duly seconded by Regent Hadley, and, a vote being taken was unanimously ... elected <by the Boare ; whereupon President Sutherland decla.redRegent\Mayelected as Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Regents of the Agricultural College for the coming year and to hold office until the election of his successor.
