Dear Clyde:
As you undoubtedly know, there has been increasing interest
in earth-approaching asteroids in connection with missions. Some
people want to mount deliberate searches for them. It seems to
me that the search for earth satellites that you organized and
conducted some years ago with the Lowell 13-inch astrograph has
many points of contact, and may even overlap parts of the sort
of search that one might plan for asteroids.
No doubt your analysis and operational procedure have been
described, at least in a contract report, but I am unaware of
the reference. I'd be grateful if you could direct me where I
might look, or, if you by any chance have copies of the report
still available, you could send me one. We could Xerox the parts
we need and return it, if necessary.
With best greetings to Patsy as well,
Most sincerely,
Elizabeth Roemer
