Dear Mr. Tombaugh,
You were very kind to bother to write us about the lecture on this date. I receive your letter this morning and regret it was too late to plan. Also I had two young tumble-weeds in bed with colds when I couldn’t leave.
But any time, as the writer wears old, let’s plan to meet on the White Sands; and then if you will spend the night we can talk about bartering my bed & board us. Your Star knowledge. I have a son soon Nine and a daughter just seven. You mentioned your young.
Can you suggest any beginning maps or books for youngsters? Or are all astronomer born old?
