of Lawrence, well-known and beloved K.U. basketball coach; Charles S. Haines
II of New York City, nationally-known architect; Merrill W. Haas of Houston,
Vice-President of Humble Oil and Refining Company; and Dr. Elmer B. Staats
of Washington, D.C., Comptroller-General of the United States.
