Library Will Be Closed in July-
Most Services Unavailable
Faculty teaching during the second summer session, July 6-August 12, need to anticipate
the disruption of library services, particularly for use of materials in the social sciences,
humanities, and education. Library materials for these disciplines will be moved to the
New Library.
The New Library is in the final stages of construction to be completed in April. Network
and telephone cabling will be installed in May; furniture and equipment will arrive
during June; and library staff and materials will move into the facility during July.
Planning continues to ensure an efficient move with minimal disruption in library
services and access to the collections by faculty, staff and students.
A time-line has been developed for a professional library moving company to pack,
