On the other hand' numbers raised will decrease six percent in the North Atlantic and four percent in the West North Centrat regions. In the eleven Western States, with its one Percent increas€, New l"lexico shows a seven percent increase and California a four percent increase over 1963. The remainder of these eleven states show a slight decrease in chickens raised. Neut Mexico raised 672,000 L"yers in 1963 and 7L9,000 in L964.
