Dear Dr. Tombaugh:
You would do us a great honor by being our guest for the
evening of May 2. The DM Jett ASCE will be holding the last meeting
of the academic year at that time and traditionally we invite
someone who can broaden our horizons and challenge our imaginations.
You are well known to the student body for your ability to do both.
Usually, two or three officers meet with our guest for
dinner before the meeting. We allow ninety minutes or so for this,
and are very flexible regarding the schedule of our speaker. DB Jett
ASCE convenes at 7 pm. Because this will be the last meeting of the
term, there should be very little business to discuss, which means
that you can look forward to adjourning by 8:30.
We await your favorable reply.
Most Sincerely Yours,
Michael Marotta
Vice President
